Her heels barely touched as he held her close. She could feel something wasn’t right, but a quick glance around the room showed nothing odd. Yet, there it was. That sensation that made her heart tighten and ache from fear.

“How are you feeling my love?” Stephen pulled Elizabeth closer to his chest as they danced, seeming to sense her distress. “What do you think of my ballroom?”

The walls were made up of alternating views of mirrors, Victorian artwork, and thick wooden panels. The room was gorgeously lit by chandelier candles. All the couples made up a romantic swoosh of fabric twirling around the room. The concrete floor was made to look like sparkling tiles with an intricate rose pattern.  Continue reading

We have all seen them. They are the cords, ropes or whatever substance is used to make them which you wear around your neck. There is advertising on them and they carry an item on the end. They are lanyards.Lanyards have been around since the middle ages when ropes were used to go around your neck allowing you to free up your hands for other work. The maker usually put his name on the product, so he could sell more to other people who saw them.As time went on, the use of lanyard as a marketing tool overshadowed every other use. I just graduated high school and my parents wanted to buy me a car for college. My budget was at most three thousand dollars, so I decided to search various used car dealerships and websites for a fairly modest car.
